Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information FenixCloud collects, how it's used, and the choices available to you, when you use the FenixCloud point-of-sale and ordering platform ("we", "us", "our").

1. Information we collect

Business accounts: business name, owner name, email, and the products, sales, and settings you enter.
Staff accounts: names and emails invited by a business owner.
Customer order data: names, phone numbers, and order details submitted through a business's menu or WhatsApp ordering, on behalf of that business.
Usage data: basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.

2. How we use it

To operate the point-of-sale and ordering features, send transactional messages (order confirmations, receipts, password resets), maintain security, and improve the service. We do not sell personal data.

3. Third-party processors

We share data with service providers as needed to run FenixCloud, including: email delivery (for receipts, invitations, and password resets), WhatsApp/Meta (for WhatsApp-based ordering and notifications, where a business enables it), optional payment or fiscal-invoicing providers a business connects, and our cloud hosting providers. Each handles data under its own privacy terms.

4. Data retention

We retain account and order data for as long as the account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward as needed for legal, accounting, or security purposes.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you're located, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Business owners can update or remove most information directly in FenixCloud; for anything else, contact us below.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including encrypted connections and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of FenixCloud after an update means you accept the revised policy.

8. Contact

Questions about this policy, or requests about your data, can be sent to support@fenixcloud.ca.
